‘My Bunny Rabbit Adventures’
When I, the author, was a youngster, I lived with my parents in a nice house with a lovely garden in the countryside. Next to my house were woods where lots of animals lived, but most of them only came out to eat and play when it was quiet and after we had all gone to bed.
However, there were lots of bunny rabbits who also lived there, and my father used to read me bedtime stories about what those little bunnies got up to. These stories had no book to call their home, but instead were simply made up by the storyteller.
This illustrated storybook therefore captures those precious bedtime stories from the early 1960s about the adventures of those bunnies in the woods all those years ago.
Having now captured and written the stories down as a legacy to and in memory of my wonderful father, I hope that children today can now enjoy his stories as much as I did all those years ago.
Thanks, Dad. You're a star!

‘Butterflies and Wrens’
‘The greatest use of life is to spend time creating something beautiful which will outlast it.’
‘Butterflies and Wrens’ is a first novel for children from the age of 12 upwards, and of course is for adults too!
The book actually features three seamlessly integrated novels bound into one cover, so it’s great value!
The book’s objectives are to make you laugh, to make you cry a little too, to teach the younger reader about growing up and what to expect as they become older and more experienced, and finally to remind the older reader about things they thought they already knew, but perhaps have misplaced along the way.
However, the objectives of the ‘story’ are to be thought-provoking, illuminating, and entertaining too!
The main character is a young rabbit called Hector. You’ll discover how Hector grew up, what he became, how he coped with the good and bad things that came his way, what he learned from his experiences and those of others, and finally how he matured into a grown-up rabbit with a family of his own.
You’ll also discover that most of the story actually happened, but you, and only you will have to decide which parts are true and which are fictional, and what your own views and beliefs are on some of the strange things that Hector experienced during his voyage through life.
The book includes some interesting anecdotes and facts as part of the storyline which you may find fascinating, and hopefully just utterly amazing too!
“A must-read for all those who are thinking about growing up.”
“An astonishingly beautiful and thought-provoking story.”
“You learn so much from the story, and then discover that it’s not necessarily been about rabbits at all.”
“An encyclopaedia of growing up.”
“Wonderful! It’s an emotional roller coaster.”
